fantastic stay!

clean rooms kind staff attached bar free sake

The rooms are clean and the right size. the staff is very kind. They even offer sake at the bar in the reception area. the beds, bathrooms, and attached bar are fantastic. the bar provides a great way to meet and sample some nice cocktails and, of course, free sake.

The air conditioner had minimal controls. It basically just blew hot air at a slow speed. this made the room very uncomfortable and hot.

the staff members are helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions. they speak english fluently, a real plus.

the hotel includes a downstairs bar and restaurant and a kids playroom area, which makes life easy, especially with children. the hotel design is thoughtful and minimalist, with great attention to detail, such as the green smoothie at breakfast.

the vegan breakfast was amazing with three choices!!! breakfast includes a green smoothie. the hotel bar offers happy hour every day from 5-8pm, alongside complimentary sake . the food was amazing!!!

Excellent Stay in Central Location

The staff was nice to us. They always had a smile! The breakfast menu sets were great. I especially liked the Japanese option. The area is super nice. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel also has a happy hour, so that was a nice bonus after a long day.

The air conditioner made a noise when turned on and off, though it did not greatly impact my stay.

The hotel is within a 10-minute walk from the train and subway stations, so convenient. A bus stop is also nearby for easy access to different parts of the city. It is a very good location!

The staff provided complimentary sake in the lobby in the evenings, a very nice touch! They also offered several breakfast options to choose from including bread, curry, and a Japanese set. I appreciated the service a lot.

sake tasting daily sake western option air conditioner outside noise window solution

the free sake tasting each day was a highlight for me i enjoyed that. the breakfast was also very good it had western options i liked. the location was convenient to restaurants in the area.

the air conditioner made noise often i noticed this when it was on and off. the staff suggested i open the window at night to solve it. this let in noise from outside which was not ideal and i did not sleep well

The staff was friendly. specifically, aika was very helpful and spoke excellent english. the breakfast bar is highly recommended. It features an excellent selection of set menus, including many vegan options.

community vibe complimentary coffee staff friendliness

I really enjoyed the community vibe. It felt so cute! the complimentary coffee in the mornings was a plus and delicious. the staff's friendliness added a lot. They always helped me when i needed it.

the air conditioner made some noise when it was both on and off! it was a little distracting at night.

Excellent Experience!

excellent location delicious breakfast convenient service

The hotel is near Shijo station. Tourist spots like Yasaka Shrine and Kiyumezu dera are close. I slept amazingly well on the tatami mats and floor beds. Breakfast included delicious French toast, vegetable salad, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. I could choose apple, orange, or berry juice. It gave us a great start for exploring Yasaka Shrine and Kiyumezu dera streets. The hotel held our luggage after checkout, a very convenient service.

The location is near bus stops and a subway station, made travel easy, also, local food options abound in the vicinity, with a taste of local cuisine, and I found several tea houses and kimono shops close by.!!
